How to Remove Makeup

How to Remove MakeupRemoving your makeup is essential if you want to keep your skin feeling and looking great. Avoiding the removal process can mean skin rashes, irritation and acne.

Removing your makeup doesn’t have to take a long time and it doesn’t have to be difficult.

All you have to do is incorporate this process into your daily regimen and you will find that your face looks better than ever!

1. Find a Makeup Remover

There are a lot of different makeup removers available to choose from. When searching for yours, make sure to grab something that is natural and gentle. These formulas are the best because they aren’t as harsh on your skin. There are some that are liquid and some that are wipes, so you can choose which you like the best.

2. Remove Your Makeup

Use the makeup remover you have as directed on the packaging. Make sure you are gentle when removing the makeup around your eyes and that you get it off of your neck/chin area. It may take a few minutes in order to get all traces of makeup off, but this will be time well spent. Doing this over a sink will ensure you don’t get stains on your clothing or drips on your floor. When you get all of the makeup off you won’t have to worry about any of it clogging up your pores while you are sleeping.

3. Wash Your Face

You will need to wash your face after removing your makeup to make sure you get all traces of the remover off of your skin. Use your favorite cleanser and warm water in order to get your skin clean. After this, splash your face with cold water and pat it dry with a soft and clean towel.

4. Apply Moisturizer

Apply your favorite moisturizer as soon as you can after you wash your face. This will help your skin stay moisturized so it doesn’t dry out. When you’re done with this you will be all set to go to sleep or enjoy the rest of your night!

– If you have really sensitive skin you should use a different makeup remover for your eyes and for the rest of your face. This will ensure you don’t end up with red and irritated skin that makes you wish you had kept the makeup on.

– Remove your makeup every night before bed in order to avoid skin problems in the future. Keeping your makeup on at night while you sleep prevents your skin from recovering and rebuilding. This means you could end up with acne, irritation, dry skin and skin that simply looks bad.

– You don’t have to spend a lot of money on cosmetic removers. There are a lot of great products available at grocery stores and drug stores that often work just as well as products you would find at department stores.

– Gently remove your makeup without scrubbing your skin. If you scrub too hard you could cause a lot of damage that will take a while to repair.
